Why Attend?

When you are stressed, your body doesn't feel safe, your brain doesn't function properly and you lack connection with yourself. This not only causes you pain but it affects your relationships negatively.

The only way to destress is to reconnect with your body. Now I know it is challenging to find the time and quiet space to do this in a world of information overload and constant distractions.

We are all time-crunched these days, that's why I am hosting my first mini retreat so these powerful modalities can be accessible to as many people as possible. Creating your own space is not a privilege, it's your birthright.

Three hours won't change your life but slowing down and creating space will!

Taking time and spending money on your well-being may seem indulgent, unnecessary and pointless at first; however, I can guarantee you, if you don't make time for your wellness get ready to make time for your illness!

Yes, life is busy and we have commitments but they don't have to be unhealthy or unsustainable.
When you prioritise health, you create space for more choice and intention rather than distraction and reaction.

Over the past ten years, I have been on a mission to heal my stress, IBS, unresolved trauma, repressed emotions, insecurities, addictions, anxiety, depression, shame, resentments, ect. I tried every diet, exercise, meditation and self-help book out there and I have learned that the somatic practices below are vital for healing.

We will use the below practices to help regulate the (stressed) nervous system.

Move Through

Yoga, Breathwork & Sound Healing

Negative emotions in particular have a long-lasting effect on the body because emotional information and trauma are stored in our organs, tissues, skin, and muscles. Like, when we experience fear/ anger our muscles will tense and our heart rate will increase. This emotional information stays in our body parts until we can “release” it through somatic practices such as yoga, breath work & sound healing.

Meditations, Questions & Discussions

Meditation not only allows you to listen to the quiet all-knowing voice inside but it strengthens your ability to perceive sensations in the body (interoception). Interoception is how we start regulating the nervous system and emotions. Once we are aware of the sensations we can then question the meaning we give them and discuss new possibilities for building healthier habits.

Hi, I'm Katie.

As a Yoga & meditation teacher, mindset mentor and author, I am wildly passionate about empowering others with a new awareness. I believe our bodies and minds are desperately seeking ways in which to slow down and that understanding ourselves, through a harmonious body-mind connection, is the beginning of true ease, inner peace and wisdom. I have been hosting retreats since 2019 and I can't wait to share a realistic approach to healing with you.

What if I am new to all of this?

No worries! No experience in yoga or any practice is required, just bring an open mind!

Tickets are $98 each
